let go
i just discovered something that i'd either forgotten, or never noticed before.
i was looking at the liner notes of let go that i had signed by nada surf in 2003. i keep it turned to killian's red which is where matthew put his message. i was flipping through it just then trying to work out whether it was the liberation or the french version that i got signed.
anyhoo, daniel signed next to la pour ca and ira drew a drum and sticks next to happy kid. i didn't realise, but he also wrote "great to hang out mel <3 ira" next to fruit fly.
it was so wonderful to find this after it had gone forgotten or unnoticed for so long that i almost cried.
